Complaints Procedure

The people who look after your health will do whatever they can to make sure you are treated properly and promptly. Sometimes, however, things do go wrong or fail to live up to the expectations of patients and their families. When this happens, there is a complaints procedure for you to use, whichever part of the NHS you happen to be dealing with. The aim in every case is to give you a quick, but thorough, response from those who know the most about your care.

We strive as a team, to provide the best care for all our patients. However, with the best will in the world there may be occasions when problems occur. Complaints in the first instance should be addressed either in person or in writing to the Practice Complaints Manager, who will ensure the matter is taken through the appropriate channels of the ‘in- house’ complaints procedure as set out in guidance from the Government.

A copy of the Practice complaints procedure can be obtained from the Practice Manager.
