Parents are invited by child health to bring their children for immunization to the Tuesday morning Baby Clinic, appointment has to book in advance.

Vaccinations are given by the Practice Nurse, but if a baby is having their 1st immunization at 8 weeks of age, they will need to see the GP first for developmental checks. If the appointment is missed due to illness, please contact the surgery for a further appointment. Remember that your child is at risk if not vaccinated. Parental consent is required for immunization.

HEALTH VISITOR: Health Visitors are qualified and experienced nurses who specialise in child and family health. They are highly skilled in all aspects of childcare and development. They visit families with young children at their home to assess their well being. Your Health Visitor is available for consultation during Baby clinic time. Routine weight check of babies is not done at the surgery, but you can drop in for this at other local centres. Please ask your Health Visitor for details.

A highly trained person is available to take the blood sample. Please book an appointment with Phlebotomist, if you have been advised by your doctor or Practice Nurse to have a blood test. This can be done on Wednesday between 9.00am and 11.00am, however the Practice Nurse can do at other times.

A qualified and experienced Counsellor is available to help people with different types of psychological problems. This service is available strictly by appointment on Friday between 8.30am and 11.30am.
