HOW TO SEE THE DOCTOR OR NURSE

It is necessary to have a prior appointment to see the Doctor or Nurse or any health care professionals. The appointment system is designed to reduce your waiting time in the surgery waiting room and to ensure that each patient receives adequate consulting time. The practice provides a mixture of 'same day appointment' for urgent medical problems and 'advance appointment' for routine non-urgent medical problems.

ACCESS TO A RECEPTIONIST

Patients can visit the surgery and speak to one of the team of receptionists at any time between 8.30am and 6.00pm every weekday. Patients can also contact the practice by telephone at any time between 8.00am and 6.30pm.

Please use the 'touch-screen' at reception desk to register your arrival at the surgery. Waiting room is equipped with wall-mounted modern TV screen which displays health related topics in sequence..

ROUTINE APPOINTMENTS

Routine appointments can be made in person or by telephone during surgery opening hours to see the doctor, nurse or other member of our clinical team.

Please note our receptionist may ask you for some information about your problem as this help the doctor and nurse.

The normal appointment is for 10 minutes at a variable time between 9.00am and 12 noon and 3.00pm and 6.00pm. This can be changed at short notice according to other engagement of clinicians.

Please remember that one appointment is for one person only and the doctor can deal with your one problem only in a proper way within the available time. If you have multiple problems, please make another appointment or book a double appointment. In the same way, please book separate appointments for each member of your family if they need to be seen by the doctor, nurse or any health care professionals.

URGENT APPOINTMENTS

If you require an appointment for a problem that you feel will not wait until the next available routine appointment, you should ring soon after 8.00am for same day appointment. There are only a limited number of slots available for urgent appointment. You will be given a time to attend at the beginning or end of morning surgery or at the beginning of afternoon surgery. You may not be able to see the doctor of your choice and may also have to wait longer than usual. Please tell the reception staff some information about your problem.
